Geneva convention applied to video games.

Some of you may know that I am really into video games.I play with people all around the world. Most of the games I play are aimed at adults, problem is that a lot of adults don't understand that these "GAMES" are really adult themed.Sex,Violence and adult situations just are not appropriate for kids. Then there is the online play. Its a very social world, but there are no boundaries to the people online.Daily I hear some of the most racist ,stupid and ignorant people talking without filters while online. How do you as a parent help your child avoid this? Well I tell all my clients to read the boxes and ratings.Adults wont be online playing kid oriented games. Unless they are trolling and we all know what happens then.Make it a habit to play the games with your kids.Even if its not fun for you. Video games like TV is not a babysitter. Recent studies show that kids who play video games are about 50% better at problem solving and dealing with task lists than kids who don't.It can instill some good qualities if tempered with real life education. In an attempt to add education to his sons playtime this writer was pretty inspired.http://kotaku.com/5158209/parent-asks-son-to-play-cod-according-to-geneva-conventions

And for those of you who do play here is a funny skit that is pretty much what goes on with online play.
