As our mobile devices get more complicated so do the applications that we download for them.Poynt is a little different.It takes a few of really important mobile functions and makes them super simple.Its basically a GPS based search for the basic things you might need while out. When you open the aplication its really simple.You have a phone book symbol,a movie ticket symbol and a search symbol.All you have to do is choose one of the three and it walks you through some simple steps from there.Lets say I choose the movie button.It then gives me a list of 5 choices,but the one I will focus on is theaters near me.Click it and a list of theaters within your chosen distance pops up.You can then choose a theater and another menu gives you some choices such as movies playing or call fandango.If you choose movies playing it lists the movies and times.For now it does not allow you to buy tickets,but you can see a preview if you have a capable phone and reviews/details.All the info you need is accessable in 20 seconds or less.The other search buttons work the same.You just type in what you want and it gives you a very detailed list and options on each choice.The reason why I love this is that its so simple and easy to use. No messing with un optomized web pages or laggy browsers.Its also available for your pc,but with a full keyboard and google it seems a little redundant. For your mobile device its a home run.
